Universal Commercial Group, LLC is a Texas based commercial real estate brokerage firm serving clients with their acquisition and disposition of commercial properties needs. We provide assistance with the sale, purchase and leasing of existing buildings and land for new construction projects. Our brokerage assignments have included medical and office buildings, multi-family housing, distribution centers, warehouse/office spaces, large trucking repair facilities, plumbing and body shops warehouses, as well as land parcels for office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and agricultural properties.  

 

Jesse Cantu, CCIM is the licensed designated Broker with over 20 years of commercial real estate brokerage and Real Estate Owned ("REO") asset management experience. In 2007 he earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member ("CCIM"); and in 2015 he received his Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certification from Cornell University.

During the 2008 financial crisis, Jesse was retained by Bayview Loan Servicing, LLC as its Texas Asset Manager/Broker and assisted the company with its Texas based assets. His responsibilities included managing a group of commercial real estate brokers throughout the state of Texas who worked on the disposition of a Real Estate Owned ("REO") portfolio of commercial properties. Such properties included office buildings, multi-family properties, medical buildings, convenience stores, warehouses, churches, daycare centers, car wash and laundromats. In addition, Jesse also managed a team of professions to collect rents, commence evictions, ensure general property maintenance, generate monthly company required reports and quarterly property revaluation analysis throughout the entire disposition process.
